I'm a computer science professor at the University of Utah, where my work web site lives. I also have a blog where I occasionally post work and personal material.
Outside of work, my life revolves around my wife Sarah and our
boys Isaac and Jonas:

My brother Eric does polar bear research for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. He is based in Anchorage but spends a lot of time doing field work in the arctic. Here's a brief article and a more detailed one about his work. Our parents are retired from regular jobs but keep busy running a farm near Riley, KS.
