Upper Hogum Fork -- easily one of the most spectacular places in the Wasatch. However, Hogum is a massive sea of talus and you would not want to visit unless there was enough snow to travel on. We were there in June 2003 and spent much of the afternoon postholing since it was a low snow year.

From left to right, you can see the South and North peaks of Thunder Mountain and then the Broads Fork Twins across the canyon. Hogum fork has a three-lobed structure; the vertical slabs are part of the ridge that divides the east and central lobes. We traveled to the head of the central lobe and Bill Thompson even climbed the headwall for a view out over American Fork Canyon. These pictures were taken by Pete Willemsen, my panorama from this spot didn't come out as well.

Also see a pano taken from Hogum Divide.
